The Symposium will provide a wonderful platform to interact and exchange ideas with wheat researchers and colleagues from
Ukraine and USA.

Official languages of the Symposium: Ukrainian, English.
Topics covered at the Symposium will include issues relevant to
 Micronutrient deficiency as a limiting factor for wheat productivity.
 Increasing mineral micronutrient content in grains via biofortification.
 The problem of mineral malnutrition in the world and Ukraine.
 Brachypodium as a model for studies of mineral nutrients uptake and delivery to reproductive organs in wheat.
 Approaches for Improving Wheat Yield and Nutritional Value.

Publication and participation in the Symposium is free of charge due to the financial support of CRDF Global Project OISE-16-
62755-0 “Sustainable Approaches for Improving Wheat Yield and Nutritional Value”.
Abstract format: The abstract body (500 words limit) should be preceded by the title, authors’ names, addresses, and the email
address of the corresponding author. The file size should not exceed 32KB; affiliations should be concise; references,
acknowledgments and equations should be used very sparingly; and figures and tables are not allowed. The name of the
presenter must be underlined in the abstract.
