Course description
The purpose of the course “Plant Biochemistry” is to make students familiar with the specifics of plant metabolism, which caused by autotrophic nutrition, to form understanding of the biochemical processes in plants: the composition of plant cells, the main groups of primary and secondary metabolism, biosynthetic transformations and catabolism. During course studying students compare the functioning of biochemical systems of autotrophic and heterotrophic organisms.
